Sunshine Newton

How may we brighten your day?

That’s the greeting you’ll hear when you call our office—and we mean it.

At Sunshine’s State Farm, we want every person who works with us to feel welcomed, cared for, and confident about the decisions they’re making for their future. Insurance isn’t just about having a policy in place. It’s about protecting the life you’re building, the people you love, and the financial stability you’ve worked hard to create.

We never want you to look back and say, “I wish I had known.” That’s why we take the time to talk, ask questions, and really listen to what matters to you. We’ll explain your options in a way that makes sense and help you put a plan in place based on your life, your needs, and your goals.

And yes—we like to have a little fun along the way. Insurance may be serious, but that doesn’t mean every conversation has to feel serious!

More Than Insurance

Sunshine has 19 years of State Farm experience and is incredibly passionate about her adventure as an agency owner. As a wife and mother, she understands how much thought, hard work, and love go into creating a secure future for the people who matter most to you.

When Sunshine took the leap of faith into business ownership, she knew she wanted to build something that was about more than selling insurance. She wanted to create a place where people could ask questions, understand their choices, plan for their future, and know they had someone in their corner.

That same philosophy shapes the way our entire team works.

We know you work hard for what you have, and we believe you deserve to understand how you’re protecting it. Whether we’re talking about your first car, your home, a growing family, your business, life insurance, or your plans for the future, we want you to leave the conversation understanding not only what you have, but why you have it.

Sometimes that means helping a young driver understand insurance for the first time. Sometimes it means helping a family prepare for the unexpected. Sometimes it’s celebrating a new home, a new baby, a new business, or another exciting chapter in life. And sometimes it means sitting down and having a bigger conversation about protecting the people you love and creating greater financial stability for the future.

Those conversations matter to us—because the people behind the policies matter to us.

A Local Team That Cares

Our office has proudly called Leesport, PA home since April 2021, and we truly love being part of this community. Our team has roots throughout Berks, Lancaster, and Lehigh counties, and we serve individuals and families throughout Pennsylvania.

We’re more than teammates—we really are a work family. Laura, Shawna, Laura Beth, Sheri, Lisa, Vince, and Sunshine bring more than 64 years of combined State Farm experience to our customers.

But experience is only part of what we hope you notice about us.

We want to know your name. We want to hear about your family. We want to celebrate the good things happening in your life, cheer you on as you work toward your goals, and be someone you know you can call when life doesn’t go according to plan.

We hope our customers never feel like a policy number when they call us. Relationships matter here, and we’re grateful for the confidence our customers place in our team.

That’s the kind of agency Sunshine set out to build, and it’s the kind of relationship we hope to build with you.

Come See Us

We’d love to welcome you to our Leesport office. Our office is wheelchair accessible, and there’s always a free cup of coffee, soda, or iced tea waiting for you. So stop in, say hello, and stay for a little while—we’d genuinely love to see you.

Can’t make it in? No problem. We can meet virtually and offer evening and weekend appointments to make conversations about your insurance and financial future easier to fit into your life.

Whether you need help with auto, home, renters, life, business, ATV, snowmobile, or other insurance needs, we would be grateful for the opportunity to get to know you and earn your business.

Yes, we can give you an insurance quote. But what we really hope to give you is something more: the confidence that you understand your choices, have a plan in place, and have people you can turn to as life changes.

We want to help you protect what you’ve worked so hard for today while preparing for everything you hope to build tomorrow.

Because your family matters. Your goals matter. Your future matters to us.

And whenever you call, we’ll start with the same question:

How may we brighten your day?
